About Sourcedreviews
Sourcedreviews is a small consumer-products publication that curates independent product reviews from existing research.
What we do
Sourcedreviews publishes buying guides and product roundups that help shoppers compare options before they buy. We focus on categories where published testing and aggregated buyer feedback give us enough signal to recommend with confidence — typically consumer electronics, home, kitchen, and outdoor categories.
How we make recommendations
We do not conduct hands-on testing of every product we write about. Instead, each recommendation is built from:
- Independent testing published by recognized labs (RTINGS, Wirecutter, Consumer Reports, and similar outlets with disclosed methodology)
- Manufacturer specifications and product documentation
- Aggregated verified-buyer feedback from major retailers
- Long-term owner reports from enthusiast communities and forums

How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you buy through them, we may receive a commission from the brand or affiliate network — at no additional cost to you. Affiliate revenue pays for the editor's time and site hosting; it does not determine which products we recommend. We disclose affiliate relationships on every relevant article and in full on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Who runs Sourcedreviews
Sourcedreviews is edited by Daniel Reeves. Daniel has been writing about consumer products since 2019. He is the only person with editorial authority over what is published on the site.
